Big Brother Week 1 Is Over, and Ashley Learned the Hard Way That Secrets Aren’t Souvenirs
07/19/26 04:42 PM

Well, we’re one houseguest down, and honestly? She has herself to blame.
Thursday night’s episode opened with the Block Buster, where Ashley, Taylor, and Yash had to watch screens full of hamster-wig footage and guess who showed up most.
Yash won it. Apparently, his aerodynamic haircut means he has an aerodynamic brain, so he walked off the block clean and left Ashley and Taylor to face the vote.
You know the funny thing? Ashley was actually in a good place going into the night. The veterans were floating the idea of flipping to save her over Taylor, and it should’ve been fine. But someone told her the plan, and instead of sitting on that information like a normal person, Ashley ran around the house broadcasting all the alliance names and everything.
Girl, you should’ve kept it a secret.
The house reaction was instant. After all, nobody trusts a person who can’t keep a secret for six hours, so the numbers that were supposed to save her completely disappeared.
The vote landed 14-0. Yes, you saw that. She didn’t even get a pity vote.
Ashley packed her bags as Week 1’s first casualty, and in her exit chat with Julie, she admitted the people she trusted bailed on her at the last second. Maybe if she kept quiet, she might have survived the vote.
Julie wasn’t done rearranging our week though. She confirmed there’s no battle-back this season, but a brand-new twist instead: the BB Time Capsule. Starting now, America votes weekly to send a houseguest into a secret side-game for six weeks straight.
If you win, you get a classic BB superpower. Lose it, and you get punished. That means even more chaos in the house. I’m already taking this way too seriously.
Then, because Big Brother never takes a break, the remaining fifteen went straight into a Wild West-themed HOH battle, and Rick Devens took it home. Power is staying locked with the veterans and Devens wasted no time cooking up a plan.
By 4:30 in the morning, a brand new mega alliance had formed in the HOH room combining the Crossovers and Red Corner into one giant group calling themselves Tool Shed.
Their target?
Rome, with Melody, Jason, and Lyric set up as decoy noms.
The funniest part was that Rome was literally standing outside the door ringing the bell while they plotted his exit inside. They heard him and completely ignored him.
Week 2 is already messier than Week 1. I’m loving this show.

Great work team!
