players to be HG's this season. They never stated the actual reason they were in talks with former players but they were still saying they were in talks with them AFTER they announced they had the finalist chosen which ruled out returning HG's in the house. There is also the fact the name of former HG's rumored to be casted has been shrinking as those former HG's are being revealed to be tied to other Networks contracts, are showing up on LIVE STREAMS instead of packing, or straight up retired from being on the show so the dollar account to change their minds would blow the budget for the entire season before production had even started to set up the house.
Also need to face the facts this may be the final season in this house/on the lot so Production is going to be more focused on going big with a new cast they can pay less on than blowing a budget on former players who would be targeted first.

Basically that post just reconfirms what production already stated that they were looking for players that were like former HG's that are Competitive and will bring the drama and not casting former
