3 questions Chicago Med must answer when it returns in 2026

We're currently in the midst of a One Chicago drought. All three of NBC's Wednesday night procedural won't air any new episodes in December 2025 and won't return with the continuations of their current seasons until the new year. Chicago Med season 11 returns on Jan. 7, and since the season wrapped up for the year with its midseason finale, we have had questions.
Even though Chicago Med season 11 began with a reunion that's been a long time coming, the midseason finale might have been the most gripping episode of the season so far. A number of former guest stars made return trips to Gaffney, and one in particular put Lenox's life in danger. Additionally, recent episodes raised some concerns about a fan-favorite ship.
There are so many questions that Chicago Med season 11 still has to address with the remaining 14 episodes, but some of them better get priority and land answers as soon as the series returns in January.
