The pictures here just don't do the devastation justice. Every neighborhood is just piles of trash and heartbreak. =( I need a vaca. NT

I saw a statistic the other day where only 14% of flood victims in East Baton Rouge Parish have flood insurance. So sad! Gov't will come in &

I would donate directly to a local church. The churches here have done more than Red Cross. NT

Agree. The local Church's have gone well beyond in helping those affected. So Greatfull for all those who donated. NT

Red Cross (and others) are using existing funds for relief efforts so really you are donating to restock for future disasters. But be highly vigilent

Not sure. We went through the Erskine Fire and the Red Cross was Fantastic as well as many others. God Bless You NT
