Michigan's Nicole Franzel talks life after $500,000 'Big Brother' win By Heather Jordan on September 22, 2016 at 11:55 AM, updated September 22, 2016 at 1:28 PM
UBLY, MI — After winning season 18 of the TV game show "Big Brother," Ubly native and Saginaw Valley State University grad Nicole Franzel says she's looking forward to going home and spending time with her family and dogs.
Franzel, 24, and a registered nurse, was named the winner in the season finale of "Big Brother 18" on CBS Wednesday, Sept. 21, taking home the $500,000 grand prize. It was Franzel's second stint on the TV game show in which competitors live together in a "house" with no access to the outside world and with cameras recording their every move. She took seventh place on "Big Brother 16."
When competing in the show's 16th season, Franzel described herself as a "small town girl" who loves to ride tractors. She graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a nursing degree in 2014. Read on here: http://www.mlive.com/news/saginaw/index.ssf/2016/09/michigan_woman_wins_season_18.html
