The problem with all female/male alliances is lack of depth. Lip gloss vs wet dream convos. As far as being apologetic, our culture does not 11/06/16 10:27 AM

encourage women to act independently of men, IMO. It's 2016, but it seems more like early 20th century in this country. The apologetic part really does not bother me, nor does the idea that they "spend every moment together and work to keep everyone else out of their group" - for me, that's called Alliance. It's how alliances stay strong.
People in their 20s - male or female - seem like kids as you get older. Heck, even in your 30s you've learned a thing or two that 20-somethings don't know and you can clearly see their glaring naivete. I think that's normal - and it's why a lot of long-time BB fans would really like to see more age diversity.
The dynamics of which you speak: Hiding behind alliance, push others in front to save self, letting the game happen without playing hard & having a leader (like Alex) emerge that pulls strings. This is pretty much true of all alliances that have more than one member - not all are equal players.
Ball Smashers ... not the name I would pick. But ... *shrug*
