You do not have the correct concept of BIG BROTHER.

Your description of the show, was Utopia. The cast made all decisions about how their lives were run and how to survive. Utopia got cancelled midway through the season last summer.
Big Brother is based on George Orwell's 1984. A sentence in chapter one is " big Brother is Watching you" The phrase refers to surveillance of Big Brother with listening devices and cameras in a totalitarian society, where Big Brother is the head of the totalitarian regime. Everyone in this society is under the surveillance of the authorities, which reminds people of an endless catchphrase “Big Brother is watching You” showing a dictator’s mindset of a Big Brother. Generally, the idea conveys a line of propaganda, meaning citizens have to follow what a dictatorial government wants them to do, and if they do not, Big Brother will know, as it spies on them all the time.
Today we say Big Brother is watching when we hear how much the government knows about out lives. Watching and interferring, just like the TV producers.
SO YES they should take care of Frank!

xx * BBUS would revert back to its former pre 6 self if entirely new production company did it. Thats where the problems lie
