Side Note:
Some think Steve is a coaster with no depth and that is not true. He is an analytical introvert so his thoughts are not easily read, unlike most of the extroverted cast. His morning solo dialogues offer insight and people sometimes ignore them bc they think it is odd, not realizing that he is strategizing.

Here's What I Learned from his Solo Ramblings:
Currently (Tues 08/18/15) -- Steve does not trust Vanessa, gamewise, and no longer shares game info with her. His alliance with her was genuine until she betrayed the alliance. He considered a final two with Austin bc Steve thinks he can beat him and thought Austin would want to win. However, Austin said he wants 3rd place so he can give the twins the final two. Steve is no longer interested in a final two with Austin. Steve wants James gone bc he knows James will win. He intentionally got out Jackie bc she has put his name out there for eviction. It was not a Vanessa manipulation. Steve has doubted his decision but decided that he was not going to fret over it and will call it a mistake to the house. He wants to break up the triplets but, like everybody else, is hoping someone else will do it due to the jury voting block. Steve intends to use JMac to get James and Vanessa out. Steve does not have enough trust in JMac to go into the the finals with him (yet, anyway). Steve would like a final two with Meg bc he will win. Bear in mind this is all fluid and will likely change as Steve's position in the game changes.
Although Steve genuinely cares for the other housepets, Steve is a NOT an emotional player - rather a strategic one. He can enjoy hanging out with a person and still evict them if they stand in his way of the prize. What Steve likes most about Big Brother is that it is both a strategic and a social game. He likes analyzing the game.
BTW, the only time you should completely trust what Steve is saying *regarding game* is when he is speaking alone or to the viewers.
